Situated at the head of Resurrection Bay on the Kenai Peninsula, Seward is one of Alaska’s oldest and most scenic communities. Known as the “Gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park,” Seward is a picturesque town with a bustling harbor and historic downtown district filled with unique shops, art galleries, and delicious seafood restaurants. You will welcome the fact that Seward is one of the most easily accessible communities in Alaska.

Seward may be reached by road, air or the Alaska Railroad. The Seward highway which connects Anchorage with Seward has been named an All-American Road, which is the highest designation of a National Forest Scenic Byway.
