| Float Plane Ride & Up-close Bear Viewing: You will experience your first excitement on this trip when your small float plane lifts off from a lake on the Kenai Peninsula, headed across Cook Inlet for a 30-minute, breathtaking, flight-seeing adventure. Then, hold on to your seat again as the plane sets down on a small lake across the Inlet. There you will transfer to small boat for a professional, guided tour of this pristine area; and don't be surprised if you find yourself holding your breath at times as you experience up close bear viewing from the safety and comfort of the boat. Oh yes, you can fish on this trip as well.
Kenai Fjords Custom Birding & Photography Cruise: Excitement starts on this adventure just as soon as you walk up the ramp from the dock to the boat, limited to 22 passengers. You'll get up close to a calving glacier and get a rush of excitement from the thunder of cracking ice and when the waves generated by the big chunks of falling ice rock the boat. Thrill at the sight of orca and humpback whales, sea lions, sea otters; watch dolphins surfing at the bow of the boat. Hold your breath as the captain skillfully skippers the boat among the rocks at the shoreline to get you up close to a variety of birds and plants. Hiking and Glacier Lake Kayaking: An exciting scenic and wildlife viewing boat ride across Kachemak Bay is only the start of this adventure that includes a guided, breathtaking walk though pristine forest to a glacier lake and then 1-2 hours of exciting kayaking. This adventure includes about 3-4 hours of hiking and the trip is considered an active day.
